2026 BOARD MEMBER NOMINATIONS

The ACMA Board of Directors is pleased to announce the following individuals as nominees for board positions. If you wish to nominate another candidate for the board, please submit a written petition to Paige Patterson at 2000 15th Steet N, Suite 250, Arlington, VA 22201. All petitions must be received by April 1, 2026, and must be signed by at least 10 voting representatives. We welcome and encourage your active participation in shaping the future of our organization.

DAVID GIBBS
Vice President, Sales & Engineering, Stongwell

David Gibbs is the Vice President, Sales and Engineering for Strongwell. He has been in the composites industry with Strongwell since 1995 and possesses a broad range of experience in process engineering, manufacturing, operations management, strategic planning, market development, and product development. He graduated from Tennessee Tech with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering. David lives in Bristol, Virginia, with his wife, Linda. Together, they have one grown daughter.  

ANDY JUHOLA
CEO, Molded Fiber Glass Companies

A lifelong resident of Ashtabula, Ohio, Andy graduated from John Carroll University in 1988 and returned home to begin working at Molded Fiber Glass Companies.  Andy has spent most of his 36 year career at MFG in Human Resources.  He earned his first manager assignment in HR in 1992 and was responsible for 600+ teammates in his hometown.  In 2008, he transitioned to a corporate role in HR as his responsibilities were growing.  He became the Corporate VP of Human Resources in 2010.  As the company transitioned from private/ family ownership to an ESOP (employee owned), Andy also transitioned to President of MFG in 2023 and most recently was named CEO of Molded Fiber Glass Companies in 2024.   

SCOTT PFLUGHOEFT
CEO, Ashley Industrial Molding Inc. 

Scott Pflughoeft is President and CEO of Ashley Industrial Molding, Inc. He earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University and an MBA from The Anderson School at UCLA. For the past 25 years he has managed and led companies with domestic and international operations producing metal and composite products in numerous markets and countries. He serves on local hospital and relief-agency non-profit boards, has traveled internationally on aid trips, and serves in the Church of God. Leveraging that diverse experience, he participates in the start-up of for-profit and non-profit organizations and endeavors to continue learning, growing, and helping others succeed.

IMAD ATALLAH
Vice President, Hexcel Corp.

Imad Atallah is Vice President of Product Management at Hexcel Corporation. He has 25 years of experience in Aerospace, in business leadership, marketing and product management, engineering and product support functions. Prior to joining Hexcel, Imad held various roles of increasing responsibility at Honeywell.  He earned a degree in mechanical engineering from McGill University, is Six Sigma certified and fluent in three languages.

LUCY HOUCHIN
Executive Vice President, 
IDI Composites International

Lucy is Executive Vice President of Industrial Dielectrics Holdings, the parent company of IDI Composites International (IDI) and Montana Advanced Composites. She joined the company in 2016 and most recently served as the General Manager of Montana Advanced Composites (MAC). Her other roles have included Managing Director of IDI Composites International – U.K. and Director of Corporate Marketing. No matter the role, her work is always grounded in uncompromising values and aimed at delivering meaningful results. 

Lucy has a Master of Business Administration degree from Purdue University and a bachelor’s degree from Butler University. She has been an active member of the American Composites Manufacturers Association (ACMA) Board of Directors, CAMX Steering Committee, and Women in the Composites Industry (WCI).   

TONY MARTIN
President, North American Composites

Tony Martin is a dynamic and results-driven executive with more than 40 years of leadership experience in structural and elastic adhesives across both U.S. and international markets. Known for driving growth, strengthening market position, and building high-performance teams, he has consistently delivered results in highly competitive industries. 

Before joining North American Composites, Tony served as Global Strategic Marketing Manager for the commercial vehicle and mass transit markets, where he developed and executed global growth strategies and expanded key customer relationships worldwide. 

Earlier in his career, he held senior sales and marketing leadership roles with Sika and Akzo Nobel, leading business development initiatives across the general composites, wind energy, and transportation sectors. His leadership consistently resulted in accelerated revenue growth, expanded market share, and stronger commercial organizations. 

Today, Tony serves as President of North American Composites, headquartered in Minnesota. As President, he sets the strategic direction of the organization, driving operational excellence, margin expansion, and market share growth across North America. He is widely recognized for his ability to lead through change, elevate performance standards, and build resilient, customer-focused teams that consistently outperform in challenging market conditions. 

Tony is a forward-thinking leader who combines strategic vision with disciplined execution — committed to positioning North American Composites as the partner of choice in the composites industry.
